Bar

The Bar is the main hub area in Neon Abyss, where the player chooses a character, spends Faith Gems for Upgrades and starts a new run.

"Chief Engineer" + Vending Machine

Initially not present, the Chief Engineer and the Vending Machine can be unlocked later in the game.
The player can talk to the Chief Engineer for a short dialog and spend Neon Coins at the Vending Machine to obtain Cards.

Difficulty Select

Set the Difficulty for the next run.

Elevator

The elevator brings the player to different floors/rooms:

• The Basement
• The Office (where you can access the 404 Room later on.)
• The Lab
• The Library (once unlocked)

Bar Counter

At the bar counter, the player may spend Faith Gems to unlock new Upgrades.

Stage

At the stage, the player character can dance to the music. Do it for 30 minutes and you'll unlock a secret achievement

Character Select

Next to the stage, the player can choose what Character to use for the next run.

Seed Input

Outside the bar, the player can input a specific Seed for your next run.

Statues

The Ancient Statue, once repaired will let the player spend Faith Gems for an item-trial on the next run.

The player can pray at the Guardian Statue once restored after losing three consecutive runs for an early-game bonus.

Abyss

To start a new run, the player must jump into the Abyss.
